A window on natural history

A new mural went up in the Peabody Museum's central gallery over the winter. Temporal Portal was designed and painted by students in a Yale College art class last fall called Cave Paintings to Graffiti: History of Mural Painting. The mural features species in the Peabody collection in chronological order from the outer edges to the center. The class was taught by School of Art dean Kymberly Pinder ’95PhD and muralist Irisol Gonzalez-Vega ’24MFA.
