The last New Haven leg of the Farmington Canal Trail is nearing completion. The bicycle and pedestrian trail now extends from Temple Street all the way to Northampton, Massachusetts (with a few gaps further upstate); seen here from Whitney Avenue is the final block of the former canal and railroad line, behind the Neighborhood Music School and the Creative Arts Workshop.
