College expands financial aid for future students
Yale recently announced a major expansion of its undergraduate financial aid program, making tuition free for families with incomes below $200,000 and covering the full cost of attendance for families earning under $100,000. The new policy, effective for students entering in 2026–27, reinforces Yale College’s commitment to affordability and access.
Schwarzman Center spotlights composer
Katherine Balch ’16MusM, associate professor of composition at Yale School of Music, was featured at Yale Schwarzman Center twice in the spring. Her original songs and interludes were featured on February 28 in Commons, performed by Lorelei Ensemble. On March 4, Balch led a lively postshow discussion with the unique string quartet Owls, which performed their eclectic program Rare Birds in the Dome.
