In Remembrance: Cecil Alexander ’40 Died on July 30 2013

Cecil Alexander, the architect of some of Atlanta's most well-known buildings— including the Coca-Cola headquarters and the former Atlanta–Fulton County Stadium—died July 31, 2013, at his home in Atlanta.  He was 95. In addition to his notoriety in architecture, he was perhaps just as well known for his work on the campaign for racial equality, during the civil rights era and beyond.

A full obituary appeared in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and on Buckhead Patch.
