Ken was a great friend in Chicago. Our meeting was accidental- i was driving all the way from Cambridge to Chicago alone; so I advertised in the harvard crimson for a rider/driver. Ken answered. Our friendship lasted all the way through Chicago and way through Chicago sojourn, until I moved to Ontario to teach. We caught up again when I moved back to the United States. We visited often in chicago.
I was shocked to hear of his demise.
A true scholar and a genuine friend. Rest in peace, kenneth.
