Obituaries

In Remembrance: Daniel N. Swisher ’54 Died on January 11 2024

Daniel Swisher passed away on January 11, 2024, in Rancho Mirage, California. He was 91. His varied career included many years in banking (which took him around the world) and 15 years in international operations for an equipment leasing company. 

An official notice appeared on the Trident Society website, and a tribute was published in the Desert Island Dish, his community’s newsletter.

    Dan was a great friend and colleague from when we met in 1973. We traveled the world together from Europe, Middle East, Asia and his favourite Latin America especially Brazil!
    We shared so much including a glass of wine or two. Lovely,erudite,international,loved as a wonderfully funny man who mentored me as one of best of the Midwest! Great legacy for Steve,Lizzie and Danny!
