In Remembrance: Eugene "Gene" Canfield Royster ’57MA, ’61PhD Died on March 20 2013

Eugene "Gene" Canfield Royster, who was born in New Haven and went on to become the first African-American professor at Bowdoin College, passed away in March 2013. He served on the faculties of seven universities.
