In Remembrance: Edward Rowny ’49MA, ’49MEng Died on December 17 2017

US Army Lieutenant General Edward Rowny died on December 17, 2017, in Washington, DC.  He was 100 years old.  He was a combat officer during World War II and advised Gen. Douglas MacArthur during the Korean War.  Later he became known as a hard-line arms control adviser and negotiator, serving five US presidents.
