In Remembrance: Ivan Chermayeff ’55BFA Died on December 2 2017

Ivan Chermayeff passed away on December 2, 2017, at the age of 85.  He was a cofounder of the graphic design firm Chermayeff & Geismar & Haviv, which created some of the most well-known logos and brands in the United States, including the NBC peacock, Pan Am's blue globe, and the Smithsonian Institution's yellow sunburst.
