For most of us, the bulldog stickers on Yale’s fleet of shuttle buses just add a little whimsy to mass transit. But they bring out the animal in some of New Haven’s dogs. Some people recently complained on the local online bulletin board SeeClickFix that their pets bark and growl at the 2-D Handsome Dan whenever the shuttle passes. New Haven resident Anne Marseille told WTNH television news that she has to “hold on with every bit of strength I have” when her dog Sawyer sees a shuttle. “I have to plan my whole walk to avoid Handsome Dan.”
