On stage at the Geffen School

David Geffen School of Drama kicked off its season of public performances with a production of Machinal by Sophie Treadwell, directed by Amanda Whitely ’27MFA, in October. The season continues with Marisol by José Rivera, directed by Héctor Flores Komatsu ’27MFA, running November 14–20; and The Doctor by Robert Icke (very loosely adapted from Arthur Schnitzler’s Professor Bernhardi), directed by Andrew Rodriguez ’27MFA, running January 23–29. In May, the school will present the annual Carlotta Festival, featuring full productions of new works by graduating playwrights. All of these productions are created collaboratively by professionals in training at the Geffen School.
