New website now online

This fall, the Yale School of Art launched its newly designed website at art.yale.edu.

Created by Brooklyn-based graphic design studio Other Means, the website opened the 2026 academic year with a new chapter in the school’s history of innovation on the web, featuring an updated orientation towards accessibility in the arts.

The new website is a direct and dynamic representation of the school, making its
master of fine arts (MFA) program more accessible and transparent through a design that emphasizes honesty, clarity, and a shared purpose.

Dean named TIME100 Art honoree

Stavros Niarchos Foundation Dean Kymberly Pinder was named as an honoree on this year’s TIME100 Art list, the magazine’s compilation of the 100 most influential people shaping the future of art. Pinder was recognized for her work towards the “ethical MFA”: fundraising to enable future MFAs to graduate debt-free. Pinder told Time that she hopes to nurture the “compulsion artists [have] to make work to help themselves understand how they’re living in the world, and to help other people.” Dean Pinder began her second five-year term as dean on July 1.
