Windy City Weekend

April 17, 2015 — April 19, 2015
Chicago, IL

Sweet home Chicago, the third most populous U.S. city, brims with historic relevance that creates a vibrant, living connection between the present and the past – and there's no better time to witness that connection than right now.

The first major transportation hub between the eastern and western United States is now a hub for global commerce; the home to the World's Columbian Exposition in 1893 is now one of America's most culturally diverse cities; a city built on heavy industry is now a center for tech entrepreneurship. And the chosen home of President Barack Obama is also a city where the political system is constantly adapting to 21st century challenges.

Chicago is an overflowing cauldron of cultural activity, making invaluable contributions to the visual arts, theater (especially improvisational comedy), television (from "Kukla, Fran and Ollie" to "Chicago P.D.") and music (particularly jazz, blues, and gospel).

Join us for a weekend with Yale friends to celebrate all that the Windy City has to offer (click through on links for more details).
