Ben Franklin was a Yalie?

While we're honoring our Founding Fathers this holiday weekend, take a peek at this eighteenth-century bust of Benjamin Franklin, carved from North American white pine by William Rush and on display at the Yale University Art Gallery.

Yale, by the way, honored Franklin way back in 1753, granting him an honorary Master of Arts degree.
