Alumni by the numbers
March/April 2010
|
If you’re like 60 percent of your fellow Yale alumni, you have been known to buy wine by the case. Yalies on average buy 3.3 cases per year, according to a survey of our readers. Just under 30 percent said they had bought distilled liquor by the case in the past year—0.9 cases per year on average. A caveat: the survey was done in 2006, before the economy collapsed. We’re not sure if the figure would be lower now (less disposable income) or higher (more to drink about). |
