More than 100 former Yale World Fellows, representing 70 different countries, came back to campus October 28–31 for their biennial Return to Yale Forum—and some serious networking. Since 2002, Yale has selected 14 to 18 World Fellows every year from applicants who are early- to mid-career leaders in their home countries; they spend a semester on campus auditing classes, giving talks, and taking an intensive seminar on leadership and critical thinking. MercyCorps CEO Neal Keny-Guyer '82MPPM, Egyptian entrepreneur Shafik Gabr, and foreign policy expert Walter Russell Mead '76 were featured speakers. |
