The growth of the
Art Gallery's collections from its founding in 1832 to the end of
the 20th century is the focus of an exhibition that celebrates the
art whose acquisition changed the range, depth, and teaching possibilities
of the museum.

A Moment Ongoing: The Legacy of Everett V. Meeks
One of the most significant
"defining moments" was the establishment in 1956 of the Everett V. Meeks Fund,
an endowment for the purchase of prints, drawings, and photographs.
