Yale Alumni Association of New York Annual Soirée

Come support the Yale Alumni Association of New York in our effort to engage our alumni as we enrich and serve the local community and beyond. We have held education workshops on Haiti reconstruction, coordinated dozens of service projects such as staffing a soup kitchen in Manhattan and restoring a public park in Brooklyn, raised funds for arts education for middle school students in the Bronx, and even created an award-winning Juvenile Justice Reform Task Force to team up Yale grads to assist at-risk youth in New Jersey. And that’s the short list.

The evening will be filled with fellow Yalies and friends at the Upper West Side home of Kara Unterberg, YC ’87.  There will be an open bar with special cocktails and wine, hors d’oeuvres, and our popular auction. Dress will be business or cocktail attire or costume to fit the Halloween season. Our annual silent auction will also be held during the evening with more exclusive items and opportunities.

YAANY does not collect membership dues, and the soirée is our main fundraising event of the year. This event helps ensure that YAANY can continue providing creative, civic-minded opportunities for all Yale alumni in the New York metro area to connect and share our talents, education, and leadership for the benefit of others.
