Bread for the City is a nonprofit organization that provides vulnerable residents of Washington with much-needed services including food, clothing, medical care, legal and social services. The organization seeks small groups of volunteers (5-12 people) to work regular Sunday shifts at its Northwest Center (1525 7th Street, NW) sorting produce gleaned from local farmers markets.
