Cold morning, hot ticket

With temperatures in the 30s, students formed a line as long as a football field yesterday morning outside Ray Tompkins House in hope of getting tickets to the Yale-Harvard game in Cambridge on Saturday. "None of us have seen a line like this before," an employee told the Yale Daily News. Tickets sold out with about 100 people still waiting in line, according to the News, and scalpers are reportedly getting up to $150.

Yale has an 8–1 record this year, and a win on Saturday would give the Bulldogs a share of the Ivy League title for the first time since 2006—which is also the last year they beat Harvard. This year’s Game has been anointed as the site of ESPN’s College GameDay, the popular Saturday morning football preview show that broadcasts from a significant game each week.
