Rick Levin ’74PhD has vaulted into the 22-member Millionaires’ Club for university presidents, pulling down total compensation of $1,179,332 in 2007-08. (His pay was $911,250.)
Thanks to that fat envelope, Levin ranked tenth in the country and third among the Ivies, behind Lee Bollinger of Columbia and Amy Gutmann at Penn, according to the Chronicle of Higher Ed’s annual report on who makes what.
